Acre Receives International Forum and Conaje Meeting

Between the 10th and 14th of March, the city of Rio Branco, in Acre, will receive young entrepreneurs from different countries to participate in the 92nd Ordinary General Assembly of the National Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (Conaje.

The meeting, which takes place at Sebrae's headquarters, aims to present the commercial and business potential of the Amazonian macro-region to leaders of associative entities.

In addition to these leaders, political and business authorities and important leaders from Brazil and other countries should also be present. The president of Conaje, Marcelo Quelho, highlights Acre's proximity to Peru and Bolivia and says that the event should move the state's economy.

“It reinforces an important flow of events in the North Region, so rich with its biodiversity and opportunities. The country and the world must look at this region more strategically, no longer as a mere supplier of raw materials, but as a place full of potential to be fostered”, he says.

According to Quelho, participants should prepare for an event with a lot of networking. Business prospecting, discussions on the global economic scenario and direction, in addition to the exchange of knowledge in lectures and workshops.

The president of CACB and Unecs, George Pinheiro, also an important businessman from Acre, will participate in the event, speaking about associativism and the unity of Brazil.

“This will undoubtedly be a great opportunity for us to present to Brazil and the world the enormous and diverse economic potential that the Amazon region has”, says Pinheiro.

“The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Acre, Ajeac, has been working on organizing this meeting for a year, in partnership with various local, national and international entities.

Without a doubt, it is the most important moment of associativism in the history of Acre”, reports Daniel Ribeiro. Since he is in the executive coordination of the event, he is president of Ajeac and Director of Integration at Conaje.

Daniel also says that Acre is located in a strategic position, and that was one of the factors.
