Debt maturity extension to 60 days.

For most banks that decided to adopt this measure, payment can be made in up to four installments, with a 60-day grace period, which will total a period of 180 days.

Why are they doing this? It is known that the measure was justified by the bank as solidarity with the difficult time that Brazil and Rio Grande do Sul are facing. With this, the objective is to contribute to the maintenance of people's purchasing power, employment and income, thus keeping the economy active.

But not everything is flowers, is it? Some modalities remain the same in most banks:

For example, the types of loan not covered by the measure are credit cards and overdrafts, which have a specific renegotiation policy, and payroll loans.

Finally, those interested who need extra time, just look for the branch network to request the new renegotiation conditions.

What are the main banks that are changing their routines?

In addition to Banrisul, Caixa Econômica also announced changes, Itáu has also closed its doors, Bradesco, Banco do Brasi, the main banks have already changed their routines
