The new Coronavirus pandemic has really caused major changes in the world-political scenario, and for those who expected the end of the quarantine in São Paulo in the coming days, they will have to wait for another indefinite period.
What the world is experiencing is literally a crisis of uncertainties, as there is still no effective cure to combat the new coronavirus completely, there are tests and models, however, nothing is very certain.
Everything that is said in Brazil, with regard to the cure for the coronavirus, is about speculation, hypotheses, attempts to put out the fire, this is the reason why the great mass of first world countries do not completely relax the quarantine . And in Brazil, it could not be different, although the president has a pro-opening trade speech.
To contain the coronavirus, SP will remain in quarantine
Doria promised this week that he will announce the extension of the quarantine in São Paulo to try to further reduce the transmission of the coronavirus. This is already the second extension of the quarantine that began on March 24 in all 645 municipalities in the state.
The situation is worrying: there are 853 deaths caused by Covid-19 and 11,568 confirmed cases of contamination. Scholars predict more alarming numbers.
The deadline was set for April 22. With the extension, the details of the duration period should be disclosed in the early afternoon of this Friday (17) during a press conference at Palácio dos Bandeirantes, in the South Zone of São Paulo.
