The government of Ceará, currently led by Camilo Santana, announced this Thursday (9) that it will distribute 423,000 food stamp cards to students in the state's public school system. The value of the card will be R$ 80.
In a note he said: We are going to distribute 423,000 food vouchers to students in the state public network. Because the schools are closed and are not offering food to these students, we are going to distribute these cards”, said the governor.

The distribution of food vouchers is one of the measures adopted by the State Government to mitigate the effects of the crisis caused by the pandemic of the new coronavirus. Ceará is one of the states most affected by the disease, with more than 1,400 cases and 57 deaths from Covid-19.
Although the amount of R$ 80 will be paid in two installments, and the total investment will be R$ 40 million, according to Camilo Santana. pointed out the need for support from the ministry.
