Ibaneis Rocha, governor of the Federal District (DF), determined today (10) the reopening of furniture and appliance stores. Likewise, stores specializing in the sale of items such as refrigerators, stoves, beds, sofas and other furniture for home and office will be able to reopen their doors. The decree was published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette of the DF.

Likewise, the governor also authorized the return to activities of System S institutions. In this way, the following are back to work:
- National Industrial Learning Service (Senai),
- Serv. Social of Commerce (Sesc),
- Industry Social Service (Sesi),
- Serv. National Commerce Learning Service (Senac), National Rural Learning Service (Senar),
- National Cooperative Learning Center (Sescoop),
- Social Transport (Sest),
- Brazilian Support for Micro and Small Businesses (Sebrae)
- National Transport Learning Institute (Senat).
In this way, the decision confirms the relaxation of the isolation measures determined by Ibaneis on March 19th. Therefore, at the time, he ordered the closure of commerce in general, with the exception of activities related to health and the purchase of basic necessities, such as supermarkets and bakeries. Although schools and colleges were also banned from opening.
As a result, on April 1st, Ibaneis issued a decree extending the closure of various types of commerce and educational institutions, but allowing the reopening of permanent fairs. Today's decree includes furniture and appliance stores in the list of establishments covered in the decree from the beginning of the month.
Today's report from the Ministry of Health that updates the coronavirus numbers in the country shows that the DF has 555 confirmed cases, with 14 deaths. Furthermore, the ministry also includes the Federal District on a list, along with São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Ceará and Amazonas as states that may be entering a phase of uncontrolled acceleration of the pandemic.
Fundraising
In the same decree published today, Ibaneis created the Todos Contra o Covid program. The second decree, the program allows the collection of resources for the immediate acquisition and contracting of services, equipment, inputs, food and other goods necessary to combat the new coronavirus pandemic. Upon publication, these collections may not require liens or charges to the Federal District. Thus, the BRB Institute, linked to Banco de Brasília, will execute the program.
