Wanderson Oliveira's resignation was announced in an official note from the Ministry of Health. Oliveira, like the Minister of Health, Luiz Henrique Mandetta, is completely in favor of social isolation to contain the coronavirus.

Who is Wanderson de Oliveira?

Wanderson de Oliveira holds a PhD in epidemiology from the Faculty of Medicine at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
Wanderson will be greatly missed, because he has specialization in the training program in epidemiology applied to the SUS, he also has a center for disease control and prevention in Georgia, in the United States.
He specialized in epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, also in the United States, and is currently a professor at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation School, in Brasília.
