Tom Jobim International Airport (Galeão), informed this morning (31) in a note, changes to prevent the new coronavirus. In line with the essential network operation disclosed by the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), the airport will have its operation and movement reduced to three flights a day.
Reduction of three flights, accounting for both landings and takeoffs by Gol Linhas Aéreas, to Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo. Early morning activities will be suspended.

According to the concessionaire RIOgaleão, until the end of April, the movement at the airport will be reduced. To adapt to this scenario, until April 30th, Galeão will suspend its activities during the night. From 11 pm to 5 am, the airport will remain closed to passengers and members. Until April 20, access to terminal 2 will be exclusively through door B, on the Departures floor, and through door A, on the Arrivals floor.
