With the advent of the global pandemic caused by the new coronavirus, the Brazilian population is having difficulties to survive this crisis, either due to the effects of this virus, or due to lockdown policies. With the informal worker helpless, the federal government found itself pressured and forced to release the Emergency Aid benefit, as a way of direct income transfer to beneficiaries.

Consultation for Inclusion in Emergency Aid
The federal government, together with the dataprev and the Federal Savings Bank added 216 thousand new families to emergency aid program.
