With the quarantine, state governments are working to avoid crowds of people. In Fortaleza several agents in inspection of the largest districts of the capital.
This Tuesday (7) the mayor, Roberto Cláudio, announced the data of 919 confirmed cases in 95 of the 122 districts. Inspection is carried out by:
- Agefis (Supervision Agency);
- AMC (Municipal Authority of Transit and Citizenship;
- GMF (Fortaleza Municipal Guard);
- Civil Defense and community agents of endemic diseases.
Objective: Supervise avoiding a large flow of people and help with information to combat the virus.
Surveillance of agents in Fortaleza in order to continue isolation
In any case, bills to pay, missing food... people risk going out, which can lead to even greater problems of transmission of the virus. However, those who work to assess the areas are the epidemiological surveillance teams.
Just as the spread of the disease began in Fortaleza in Regional II and also in the Center, it is in these places where there is a greater concentration of houses, as the virus spreads quickly and reached all regions. Although the virus is concentrated throughout the territory, important data to know that the moment calls for social isolation.
How important is isolation?
The main point is that the speed of the contamination virus decreases, reducing the number of contaminated cases, with a large number of contaminated people, the health system does not support so many people. Just like what happened in Italy, Brazil would also fall into chaos.
As well as quarantine, isolation is not only about not going out, but also avoiding contact, hugs, kisses, handshakes. While prevention is for everyone, the risk of contagion is very high.
The mayor of Fortaleza also said about the opening of another 240 beds for emergencies in the 5 UPA units, for special preparation to combat the virus. The number of infected people has increased and states need to prepare by encouraging people to social isolation and bed numbers.
