DF Governor Authorizes Reopening of Furniture and Electronics Stores

As a result, on April 1, Ibaneis issued a decree extending the closure of various types of commerce and educational institutions, but allowing the reopening of permanent fairs. Today's decree includes furniture and appliance stores in the list of establishments covered by the decree at the beginning of the month.

Today's balance sheet from the Ministry of Health, which updates the numbers of the coronavirus in the country, shows that the DF has 555 confirmed cases, with 14 deaths. In addition, the ministry also includes the Federal District on a list, along with São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Ceará and Amazonas as states that may be entering a phase of uncontrolled acceleration of the pandemic.

In the same decree published today, Ibaneis created the program Todos Contra o Covid. Since the second decree, the program allows the collection of resources for the immediate acquisition and contracting of services, equipment, inputs, food and other goods necessary to face the pandemic of the new coronavirus. Upon publication, these collections may not require any encumbrances or charges to the Federal District. Thus, the BRB Institute, linked to the Bank of Brasília, will execute the program.
