Coronavirus has killed more than 60,000 people in the US
As disclosed by the US daily bulletin, in Washington, more than 2,000 deaths related to the new coronavirus were recorded for the third consecutive day, according to the count released on Thursday (30) by the Johns Hopkins University, responsible for the country's official count.
The university reported that the country recorded 2,053 deaths on Thursday, after 2,502 deaths on Wednesday, and 2,207 on Tuesday.
Now, we have, at least 62,906 people have died in the United States, according to the University of Baltimore.
It is always good to remember that the United States is the country hardest hit by the pandemic in terms of the number of deaths, ahead of Italy (27,967 deaths), the United Kingdom (26,711), Spain (24,543) and France (24,376), according to with the AFP balance released at 4 pm on Friday, based on official data.
Since its appearance in China in December, the new coronavirus has killed at least 230,000 people worldwide.
Today the country already has more than one million diagnosed cases, therefore, they represent almost a third of the officially registered cases in 195 countries.
