The biggest Easter party in Brazil starts this Thursday (12) in Pomerode. the 12th Osterfest expects to receive around 250,000 people by April 12. Therefore, admission is free, as are most attractions, which are always open from Thursday to Sunday, from 10 am to 8 pm.
Namely for this edition, one of the best known plastic artists in the country, Romero Britto, designed the largest decorated egg in the world. Although the flowers, hearts, circles and dashes form a fun and thought-provoking set. The assembly lasted more than a month and was conducted by the artist João Siqueira.
In fact, another record of the party is the largest Osterbaum (Easter tree) in the world, with around 100,000 colored natural cones. That way in 2020, it was assembled in a different way, following the bright color palette of the giant egg. As soon as the cones were organized into blocks, causing an unprecedented visual effect.

However, already traditional attractions are maintained in the program, such as the workshops for painting cones and artisanal cookies. While there are also cultural performances, a craft fair, an exhibition of hand-painted eggs, train and pony rides, and much more.
