In Santa Cataria, in the city of Maracajá, especially in Espigão da Toca, Garajuva and Encruzo do Bairro, the regions are being paved.
The contract for paving returned after being decreed as an Emergency Situation by the State government, with the aim of combating the pandemic of the new coronavirus.

The first work to start is in the region of Espigão da Toca, with the paving of the Angelino Acordi Highway. As well as a distance of 1.6 km and taking approximately two weeks to complete, starting from scratch.
The paving of Encruzo do Barro Vermelho continues to Araranguá, with 2.2 km on the José Juvelino Costa and Alcino de Freitas Highways. Thus, the process of soil preparation is being carried out, up to drainage.

However, the process from start to finish is complex, such as, for example, the installation and drainage of rainwater, it is in its final phase, which precedes the earthworks, which will be carried out throughout the process.
