The executive vice-president of the Tocantins Sanitation Agency, Davi Goveia Júnior carried out an inspection and test in the water supply system with wells.
According to the ministry, it was installed to serve the population of the Entre Serras and North South, in the municipality of Lajeado.
In such a way that a Deep Tubular Well was drilled at the site, a treatment pumping system was installed, and a pipeline network was built.
The investment for construction of the supply system, according to the Tocantis Sanitation Agency, is now an estimated value of R$190 thousand, favoring families.
According to the vice-president, the well will serve more than 100 families from Lajeado, the new well and the new treatment and pumping systems will help.
In this way, they carry out the same work in the northern region, where the program will benefit agrarian reform settlements with the drilling of deep tube wells.
In fact, with the help of the State Government, through the ATS, three agreements were signed with the Ministry of National Integration, through the Água para Todos program.
In principle, 11,350 cisterns were built by 2014, the other to complement the service to family farming, construction of 117 dams in communities.
Improvements
Likewise, several residents of Tocantínia have been without water in the city for some time. The instability in the service disturbed even the daily lives of the population.
Residents also complained about the neglect of the Tocantinense Sanitation Agency (ATS), which performs the water and sewage treatment service in the municipality.
In the same way that lack of water interfered with the most common day-to-day tasks such as bathing and even cooking.
Since the production of water in the municipalities guarantees a constant and effective supply, it also increases the efficiency of the pumps, thus reducing operating costs with energy.
Undoubtedly, the ATS team, with the execution of this service, improved the water supply in the city by approximately 30%, reducing consumption.
