Who is entitled to payment
Workers registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years will be entitled to receive the payment. And who has been in formal work for at least 30 days throughout 2019, with an average monthly salary of up to two minimum wages. To be entitled to the allowance, the employer must also have informed the employee's data in the Annual Report of Social Information (Rais) 2019.
For workers identified with RAIS after the deadline, delivered by September 30, 2020, the allowance payment will be made available from November 4 of that year.
The payment ceiling is up to one minimum wage (R$ 1,045), with the amount calculated in the proportion of one twelfth of the salary. The amount each worker will receive will be in proportion to the number of months worked formally in 2019.
People who are heirs will also be entitled to payment. In the event of the death of the participating person, the heirs must present proof of documents of both death and beneficiary status.
