In an exclusive statement to Veja magazine (which praised him in the past) the former minister also said that the request for opening investigations made by the Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras, was “intimidating”.

Aras asked to investigate the accusations made by the former minister, investigating the alleged slanderous denunciation against Bolsonaro by the former judge who condemned Lula.

The former judge said that the request to open this inquiry that points him as possibly responsible for slander and slanderous denunciation was intimidating. That said, he claims he is at the disposal of the authorities.

Sergio Moro diz que tem provas concretas contra Bolsonaro

What are the proofs? Asked the magazine, however, Moro limited himself to saying that he will speak when questioned by the Justice

Is what ex-minister Sergio Moro has serious?

He declared the press: “I presented those messages. I didn't like presenting them, it's true, but I presented them only and exclusively because in the president's speech he falsely stated that I was lying. Although I have great respect for the president, I cannot allow him to publicly call me a liar.”.

Moro also made a point of saying that other government ministers would know about Bolsonaro's attempt to interfere with the Federal Police, it is real, it is not a tease, says the former judge.

He clarified that Bolsonaro knows who is telling the truth. Not just him. There are ministers within the government who are aware of this whole situation and who are telling the truth.

The former minister supporting the Bolsonaro government said he was not afraid of attacks by Bolsonarist groups on the internet, but he was bothered by mentions of his wife, lawyer Rosângela Moro.

“They attacked my wife and are making and disseminating dossiers against her with absolutely false information. She never did anything wrong. Neither I nor she did anything wrong. These same methods of intimidation were used back then, during Lava-Jato, when the investigated and prosecuted was former President Lula,” he told Jornal O Globo.
