refinery prices
Petrobras increased the average price of gasoline at its refineries in 3% this week. It was the first fuel increase that took place that year.
Meanwhile, the oil company's diesel price did not change.
The gasoline price hike came after the price of Brent oil recorded a recovery of about 10% since the last day 10, when it had reached the lowest value in about 13 months, due to fears about the impact of the coronavirus on Chinese demand.
Price at gas stations
The transfer of price adjustments at refineries to the final consumer at gas stations depends on several aspects, from taxes, distribution and resale margins, to blending biofuels.
Last week, gasoline and diesel prices dropped – in line with data released by the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
According to the ANP survey
The price of a liter of diesel fell by 1.4% in the period, to R$ 3.711, on average. The average value of a liter of gasoline for consumers dropped 0.61%, to R$ 4.550, this week.
