Changes to the new Bolsa Família 2021
According to ministry of citizenship, the government, is studying some changes to improve and expand the program. Among the proposals are:
- Monthly day care allowance in the amount of R$ 52 reais per child;
- Annual bonus of R$ 200 reais for the best student;
- Monthly grant of R$ 100 reais, for the best students participating in scientific and technical projects, plus a bonus of R$ 1,000 reais per year, for the outstanding student of the program;
- Renewal of program entry and exit rules (facilitating entry);
- Update of the minimum income criteria for inclusion in the program.
As the money that will be paid the Emergency Aid, instead of Family Scholarship, the proposed direct income for the program, can be saved and redesign and improve the program for the next enrollment year.
How to apply for Bolsa Familia
To subscribe to Family Scholarship, currently the procedure is being done completely online, through the portal of the ministry of citizenship, but the standard procedure is to look for the CRAS or Social Assistance, closer to your city of residence. There, you will be asked for some basic documentation: RG; Birth certificate; CPF; Work Card; Voter title; Proof of address; Birth certificate and ID of dependents.
