With the crisis caused by the covid-19 pandemic, several institutions stopped their operation, restricted service to the public, or found alternatives to offer the same service, in an alternative way, using the digital channel. It was with this in mind that the National Institute of Social Security, rescued the “My INSS” application.
O “My INSS” application”, already existed before the pandemic, but was little used, with the advent of the “new coronavirus”, the social Security, optimized the app, and currently, it has become a great tool for the Brazilian population that wants to be served by the institution.
In this sense, today we will show how download and access the app, as well as teaching apply for retirement.
How to access the “My INSS” application?
To access the app, it is very simple, in fact, you just need to access the virtual store on your cell phone, Google Play or App Store, and search for the mentioned application “My INSS”.
After that, just follow the steps below, check it out:
- -Select the option “register password”
- -Put your personal data (full name, telephone and e-mail);
- -Click on the "I'm not a Robot" button and signal that you accept all the terms and conditions of use of the application;
- -Answer some personal questions, and select the “continue” option;
- - In the following tabs, it will be necessary to fill in your contribution to Social Security;
- - Next, choose the option to “create password”;
- -From there, click on “enter with gov.br";
- -You will need to write your CPF, the password you previously registered, and accept the terms of use of the application;
- - Once completed, you will be taken to the main access tab, with a list of services offered by the “My INSS”.
On the main screen you will find a series of services, which it is possible to request through the application, among them, claim the much-deserved retirement, which we will teach in the next topic.
How to apply for retirement through the app?
Forget about spending hours and hours in queues at agencies INSS, now to request the retirement, you can do this, from the comfort of your own home, at own cell phone.
On the main screen of “My INSS” application, there is the option “ask for retirement”, just click on that option. However, it is important that before requesting your retirement, you download the contribution statement.
In the CNIS – Extract of Contribution option, you can view all records of contributions made to the INSS. If everything is correct, then click on the option “ask for retirement”, and choose one of the options that suits you: Retirement by Time of Contribution / Urban Age, Retirement by Rural Age or Retirement of Persons with Disabilities by Time of Contribution, for example.
