Recently, the federal government informed the population via the Union's official gazette that the payroll schedules both 2020 and 2021 will be unified, and therefore, will be paid together from February 2022.
The justification of the economic team of the federal government is that there are budget impasses to be resolved. In this sense, we decided to bring new information about how much, how and when, the worker will receive the Salary Allowance. Check it out below.
PIS/PASEP Salary Bonus in 2022
the release of PIS/PASEP salary allowance, will not change, in this sense, the working citizen who had portfolio record for at least 30 days in the year 2020, you will receive the respective balance equivalent to the PIS/PASEP fund salary allowance.
It is worth remembering that for the release of the allowance, the respective base year is considered.
In this way, in 2022, will receive the benefit, the one who worked for at least 30 days in 2020 with a formal contract, just like the one worked at least 30 days in 2021 with a formal record.
Evidently, there will be two different calculations, running simultaneously. One with reference to 2020 base year and another calculation having as base year 2021.
To be able to withdraw this balance, the worker must have:
- Received a maximum of 2 minimum wages, in each month of the base year;
- Be enrolled in the PIS for at least 5 years, with the company correctly informing the contract and payment data in the GDRais.
It is important to say that many workers end up not receiving PIS or same delaying the deadline for receipt, because the employer did not inform the data, or informed incorrect form in GD Rais. So be aware.
How much will the Payment be?
Using the current minimum wage as a reference base (R$ 1,100.00 reais), to find out how much you will receive from the PIS/PASEP, just divide this value by 12 (number of months in the year), and multiply by the number of months worked. Check the table below.

Explaining, the worker who has worked with a formal contract for 5 months in the year 2021, must divide 1,100 by 12, which is equal to 92, and multiply by 5, therefore the worker will receive R$ 460 reais of salary allowance.
How to check Salary Allowance
To check if you will receive the PIS allowance, perform the following steps:
- Get the app “Worker Box” in the official cell phone store (Google play or App Store), if you already have the app installed, update it to latest version;
- Access the application;
- Log into your Caixa account, and in the field “consultations”, select "current year" which is below the “salary bonus” field;
- Verify your information salary allowance.
To consult the PASEP salary allowance, it will be necessary to access the PASEP website. Bank of Brazil, and inform some information, such as the Pasep number and the CPF.
