On Sunday night (29), the social network, Twitter deleted two posts made by President Jair Bolsonaro's official account where he questioned social isolation measures to contain the spread of the new coronavirus.
Where the messages were, the following information now appears: “This tweet is no longer available because it violated Twitter rules”.
Twitter's response on the matter was as follows:
“Twitter recently announced around the world the expansion of its rules to cover content that is potentially against public health information guided by official sources and could put people at greater risk of transmitting COVID-19.” The details of the expansion of the approach are available on the network's official blog.
In the post that the company cited, there is a list of the types of messages that can put public health at risk in relation to the coronavirus.

Contents contradict world health authorities
Twitter did not give specific details on what points in the statements or images of the two posts led to their deletion. In addition to the two deleted, there is also another publication of his tour in Brasília and of statements on Sunday about the coronavirus that remain in the air.
Bolsonaro, in one of the deleted videos, talks to a street vendor and advocates that people keep working. It says for “those over 65 to stay at home”. He nods positively when one of the people in the agglomeration says that "you have to open shops and work normally".
In the second video, Bolsonaro enters a supermarket, causing crowds again. He criticizes the isolation measures and tells journalists that “the country is immune when 60, 70% were infected” and that a remedy against the coronavirus “is already a reality”, without providing any proof.
The president also stated in one of the videos: “Brazil cannot stop. If Brazil stops, it becomes a Venezuela (…) we will face the virus with reality, it is life, we will all die one day.”
