The state government of São Paulo launched the Vale Gas program, a social protection initiative with the purpose of helping and benefiting around 500,000 Brazilian citizens in vulnerable situations residing in the state of São Paulo.
O gas voucher aid will operate in the form of direct income transfer, being destined in the purchase of kitchen gas cylinder in LPG standard 13kg, for around 100,000 needy families in the state of São Paulo.

About Vale Gas
The program created by the Department of Social Development of the state of São Paulo will receive an investment of more than R$ 30 million reais. The estimate is that 82 cities benefit from the social program.
According to the Secretary of Social Development of the State of São Paulo, with this proposal, the state government is moving forward to guarantee the protection of the population in greater economic and social fragility, which were amplified by the pandemic.
O Vale Gás program gives dignity to people, because citizens with little income know the importance of having a gas cylinder in the kitchen.
Registration and value of Vale Gas
O Vale Gas aid, will benefit approx. 100,000 families living on the poverty line or in extreme poverty, who live in poor communities.
The public will have access to 3 installments of R$ 100 reais, each installment will be paid every two months.
O citizen will be entitled to the Vale Gás program families registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and who do not participate in the Family Scholarship and who have a per capita monthly income of a maximum of R$ 178 reais.
In this way, there will be no deadline for registration to guarantee the gas voucher, so the government will use the database of the CadUnique to define which users will receive the gas voucher.
In this sense, the government of São Paulo launched a website for the population to make inquiries to verify the aid. To do so, go to the website of gas voucher, put the NIS number and make the query if you can receive gas aid.
In case the person does not have access to the internet, they can look for the CRAS – Social Assistance Reference Center, closer to your residence.
