Measure adopted in 2020, will be renewed for 2021, according to the federal government, it already has INSS 13th payment calendar. However, as there was a sequence of delays in the 2021 budget, which should have been approved by Congress last year, the federal government was forced to postpone the anticipation to next month.
THE budget approval, ended up being approved by Congress only in the third month of 2021.
However, the government has been bumping into another obstacle, the LOA (Annual Budget Law) this year, the new text of the law, cut more than 26 million from the government budget, which were considered mandatory expenditures by the State with aid and benefits from the INSS, including unemployment insurance, and the PIS/PASEP that will be enabled in the parliamentary amendments.
With that in mind, today we present the payment schedule proposed by the government, which should remain for May (1st installment) and June (2nd installment).
Payment Criteria
As the 2021 budget plan is not definitively sanctioned, the respective anticipation of the 13th salary from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), will not be approved and released.
If the federal government and its economic team do not create a specific payment schedule, the dates must follow the dates already announced. The benefits paid by INSS, follow a unique numbering of each beneficiary citizen. Therefore, the payment criterion is the last digit of this registration.
13th Payment Schedule
Payments will be divided into two classes, citizens who earn up to one salary will receive before, beneficiaries who earn more than one salary will receive later. Check the calendars below.

Delay in Anticipating the 13th
As mentioned above, the Christmas installment is bumping into the new updated text of the union budget, which cut more than R$ 26 million that were considered as mandatory costs and expenses of the federal government with the INSS benefits.
The subject is in focus, and several deputies called the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), considering that the current proposal can be considered a crime of responsibility.
