Bolsonaro responds after being the target of strong criticism

The president Jair Bolsonaro said this Monday (20) that he is against the end of democracy. “As far as the president is concerned, democracy and freedom above all,” he told reporters as he left Palácio da Alvorada in the morning.

"I really am the Constitution."

As we can see from the official disclosures of their profiles on the internet. This Sunday, on top of the bed of a pickup truck, in front of the Army's headquarters and heading to a crowd of supporters pro-military intervention in Brazil,

The head of state arrived to make other statements

We are in another government: “the era of rascality is over” and he shouted slogans like “now the people are in power” and “we don't want to negotiate anything”.

“We do not and will not negotiate anything. We want action for Brazil”, declared the president, who participated for the second day in a row in a demonstration in Brasília, causing crowds amid the coronavirus pandemic. “Enough of the old politics. Now it is Brazil above all and God above all.”

But as might be expected, the president sought to change his tone.

“Take my speech. I said nothing against any other Power. Quite the opposite. We want to go back to work, the people want that.

All they were doing there was saluting the Brazilian Army. That's it, nothing more. Other than that, it is invention, an attempt to set fire to the nation that is still within normality,” Bolsonaro said this morning.
